For Spanish drinks brand Licor43 we were chosen to activate an integrated campaign aimed at engaging premium urbanite audiences within a travel editorial environment.
Using Mr & Mrs Smith as the editorial tastemaker, we created a bespoke series of articles covering cuisine and culture entitled “Icons of Iberia”. The editorial content included brand integration for Licor43 as well as full advertising takeovers and key section takeovers across the site for the home page and across the Spain destination and hotels pages of Mr & Mrs Smith.
Licor 43 used Digital Spring’s proprietary competition platform to create and host a competition offering users the chance to win an amazing 3 night stay at a Mr & Mrs Smith hotel in Spain.
The campaign was amplified around the wider Digital Spring Portfolio in travel/urbanite entertainment editorial environments with large format content units, driving users through to both the editorial section and the competition. The campaign also featured standalone and branded emails to the Mr & Mrs Smith databases.
Results in terms of reach, dwell times, interaction rates and CTRs were exceptional.
